about Wittmeier Denture Studio
Wilf Wittmeier started Wittmeier Denture Clinics Ltd in 1978 and has been serving patients in the greater Edmonton area for 40 years. He practices out of the Mira Health Centre in central Edmonton since 1991 and approaches the diagnostics of all patients by asking himself “What would I do if it was me or a loved-one in the chair?”
Wilf is an active member of the College of Alberta Denturists, as well as the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics.
Wilf completed his formal training at the NAIT’s Program for Denturist Technology and has been dedicated to expanding his expertise throughout his career. He is Master Certified in Ivoclar’s Biofunctinal Prosthetic Systems and a Certified Specialist for the MANDI (Mucostatic Autoperimetric Neuromuscular Denture Instrumentation) System.
In addition to dentures, Wilf is certified for the snoring and apnea device “The Silencer” and started Sleep Silencer System Ltd in 2001. Additionally he has studied and attended courses in the areas of Neuromuscular dentistry, dental bite alignment, computerized jaw tracking, TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) syndrome, as well as functional and non-functional orthotics.
When Wilf isn’t tending to patients or honing his craft he can be found spending quality time with his family (including 7 grandkids) and enjoying his hobbies of traveling, photography, and pasta-making!
